Default WT Sea Eagle (small in frame)

OK, another backlit 'arty' shot from me, but this time going small in frame. For me this is again more about the light rather than detail and I personally love the hues and colours in the mottled background. I do have a pet hate of gulls as they always photo bomb an image, wether is Grizzly's in Alaska or WT Sea eagles in Norway, but here I like the inclusion, as it looks a bit sterile without it. Some may feel the warm, orange 'blobs' at the foot of the image are distracting, again I quite like it because of the colours link with the subject, but open to thoughts????

Thanks to those who viewed or especially commented on the previous image.

The light is great. Pose on the bird is quite nice. I don't mind the gull or the blobs here.

Steve I think the image looks great, the light on the eagle has been beautifully rendered and I think the gull is in fact a good inclusion rather than a competing element. The faint orange blobs are just fine to me also. I think there is often a tendency for some posts to have a rather sterile and cleaned background which from my experience is something I see infrequently in nature.

Hi Steve, your showing me something I would have never considered. The light is wonderful as are the subtle colors creeping into the background. I would not change a thing. Thank you for sharing.
