    Default Jackal

A Jackal stoppes in its path to look at some animals at a distance. There was a kill near-by so the odour must have drawn him/her in.

Lovely quality image, colours look great to me. The jackal appears to be totally unconcerned about your presence.

    Very nice image Sanjeev,

If I may ask, where was this taken? Interesting how grey this jackal's coat is, almost silver. I like the eyes a lot, as well as pose. Lovely detail, colours and tonality.
Nice BG, good framing, everything works here. You must be pretty chuffed with this! I certainly enjoyed viewing and just like Jon, I appreciate the quality of this image - very nice work

    Kind regards,

Nice image Sanjeev, but getting a more accurate WB will give you better colour to the image and less of a Magenta basis, adding a sliver of Sat also helps. Not sure why you chose f/5 rather than 5.6 I guess you knocked a setting?

Hi Sanjeev - A simple, yet effective portrait. Nice relaxed pose and good sharpness. I also see a magenta cast to the jackal, easily corrected. It is interesting to see how silver the coat of this one is.

What a beautiful specimen and capture as well. Exceptional light, fine detail and super concentration. To me there's a bit of nice 3D quality. Well done.
