A male lion takes down a wildebeest at central Serengeti as the migration heads move on. The male pounced on the WB and in a couple of seconds it was all over for the poor WB. Then he dragged the WB to a small ravine to enjoy his meal. I have seen lionesses hunt but for the first time saw a male in action!

Hi Sanjeev - A dramatic image. You handled what looks like harsh light well. Colors and techs look good too. I would prefer a little more room above. Did you capture any of the take down?

    TFS,
    Rachel

Thank you Rachel, yes I have some shots of the take-down but it got dusty and am yet to PP that part of the sequence. There are a couple keepers so will share it soon.

Great shot with fine detail, I wondered at first if there was a blue cast in the image but maybe not, is the colour temp possibly a little low??? Maybe just me.
