    It looks like there hasn't been a Dandelion shot for a while.
    1DXII Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM 1/640 f10 iso800 -3ev about a 50% crop, lightened shadows and slight sharpening.

    My eye goes to the brightest part of the image which is also the sharpest. The diagonal line from the stem is nice. Vertical composition works well here.

    Unusual image, I quite like the dark background (unusual for me!) The subject is well focused and sharp and I like the detail in the shadow.
