    I like the composition, interaction, soft light and details. Did you use any exposure compensation?

    Axel, I know I should make more notes on how I make my photographs, but at the moment I don't. I do know that I used the reading from my hand held meter and shot accordingly (I know Artie doesn't like it). It was a cloudy day.

    If you look for the information, you can find for example in Bridge under metadata.

    Interesting view. And, a good exposure. Both birds are pretty sharp considering f/4.

    Nice one John. I like the idea here- the image shows off the pair-interaction well. The eyes could be lightened a little to "lift" the image. Also maybe a little less on each side would work?

    This is an unusual look and I like it a lot. Great DOF. The patterns and angles on the one bird's face are very interesting. If it was mine, I would crop for more of a vertical look.
