Default One happy Little Green Heron

I was watching a Yellow-Crowned Night Heron while he was feeding and hoping he would come closer. All of a sudden this Little Green Heron landed on a water break right in front of me and did a little happy dance for me. I think this is a young heron because he has great colors. Shot with Canon 80D and Canon 100-400mm L mark ii. ISO 400 SS 1/3200 F/5.6 400mm

Really like the pose on the bird. I would like to see a little more room above and below. Nice capture.

Nice to see this guy in breeding plumage. Cool pose! The image looks a bit noisy, I would try reducing both your ISO and shutter speed and see how that treats you.

Welcome to BPN Don. Lovely pose here and I like the colours throughout. You shouldn't have any noise at ISO 400, I am wondering if you applied any NR as the image looks quite painterly, was it a large crop.

slo wiWelcome! This is a great community of folks! Nice look at this guy. Noise issue has been mentioned, but that's a bit weird at you were already down at ISO 400. I also wish for a bit more eye contact.
