Tree swallows are quick, unpredictable and can provide some rewarding shots with the right timing and a good amount of luck. I'm always after a good tree swallow shot. This is my favorite of the year so far.

Nicely done. Great detail, whites look a bit blown to me. Great pose and perch.

Thanks Walker, I'll take a second look at those whites.

Hi daniel, nice wing stretch and iridescence o the swallow. Not sure what is all over the stump/perch, looks like mice droppings? Maybe clean the perch up?

I really like this. Beautiful colours and detail on the bird. I think the perch looks good and a nice BG. Love the HA.

Nice wingstrecth here, it makes the swallow look thick. Good stump perch, although I'm not a big fan of the part projecting higher up on it. BG, details, exposure all look good to me. Nicely done!
