    Captured this image in Botswana this past February. Two Woodland Kingfishers were greeting each other, and this is a common display. C&C welcome.

    D500, Sigma 150-600mm C @ 600mm, 1/1600s, f 7.1, ISO 1600.

    Nice pose on this kingfisher. A smaller perch would have been nice but this will work.

    Looks good Geoffrey. I didn't have the fortune to see one of these. The spread wings are great and nicely processed with great detail across the dark and light plumage. Great background to round it off. Having the bird on the left and looking left is a little unorthodox but the composition works for me, I think because of the diagonal created by the perch.

    Hi Geoffrey, This is a lovely frame, wing position, colors, detail, and BG, I like this one!
