    Male Kestrel taking off. BG is water


    shot with 1DX II and 600 II + 2X III (1200mm) hand held ISO 1250 f/8 at 1/4000sec processed with DPP 4.7

    This is delux Arash!! Great light and a really unique take off position. Don't see them with blue water backgrounds and green branches too often so this makes this one that much nicer.
    Very nice find also.

    Great wing position. He really stands out against the dark blue background. Techs excellent, of course.

    Hi Ari, brilliant IQ, detail and sharpness. I really like the raised wings, and the Kestrel looks great against the dark blue water.

    I don't want to simply agree with everyone else here and would rather give you something different, but I seriously have the same thoughts as everyone else. Second time I've said this today, but these settings are something I would never consider. Between looking at that and one of your comments on an image I posted the other day, I can't wait to get out there and get more aggressive with DoF and ISO.
