    Another flight shot from last Fall. Maybe I'll try experimenting with narrower apertures this year but I thought this turned out pretty well.

    This is your best butterfly flight image i have seen. The butterfly is very sharp. Well done. Can't wait to see more.

    Lovely shot Allen well timed. There is some clipping raw conversion - adjustment of saturation and luminosity would help on the flower - red, yellow, magenta, I would also lift the darkest areas on the butterfly.
    Smaller aperture are good for DOF on the butterflies but it is really surprising how much more the background can become apparent. I often do a quick check on the camera with DOF button and fire off a shot or two.
