The mockingbirds are relentless in their harassment of the caracaras. I could not decide who I felt sorrier for.
This caracara also had a bit of bird droppings on his shoulder. I used a brown brush at 30% opacity to minimize the whitewash.

Very nice image. I like the open bill and the behavior.

I also like the head angles of the image. I think the images works excellently because of the above.

    Thanks for sharing the same.

Pretty neat frame. Like the perch and of course the interaction here. Both birds have pretty good head angles.

I like everything about this image. High IQ, sharp focus on both birds, good eye contact on both birds, great perch and best of all the dynamic interaction between the two. I see birds harassing one another all the time but capturing the interaction with a high quality image is really difficult and rare ( for me at least ).

What a moment well caught - terrific Gail. What a moment, this would do well in competition that's for sure.
I like the image as it is, if it were mine (and boy do I wish it was!) I would experiment with curves saturation and or contrast and see what can be obtained without TC DE.

HAhaha, very nice, love the expression and that dogmatic mockingbird! I like the top feathers on the cap sticking up and the BG! Excellent action captured Gail!

Blazing hot Gail! Great interaction, poses, perch and background. I would make 2 changes. I would remove a little of the dead space to the left of the bird by maybe a third and then add that to the right. Then I would add another round of sharpening on the mockingbird as it looks slightly less sharp than the Caracara.
