Another from Svalbard. Almost missed these guys. I was walking along a rocky beach when I turned just in time to see them coming toward me. I grabbed a few frames and underexposed a bit, but felt lucky to get two good wing positions. I thought the water ripples in this one were interesting. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the water temperature was around 29 degrees F.?

Nice wing position and intersting looking BG, I like that you got both. the image is a bit dark and noisy and lacking in finer details.

The water looks quite neat here. Really like the down up wing position on the birds.

Great wing positions, I know how difficult it is to get the exposure on these birds. The female looks good and stands out well against the BG. The blacks on the males head and underside look too dark here. If the IQ holds, I would try lifting the shadows on these parts.
