These are the two from the Common Tern nest at Nickerson. I have been concerned for this nest as it was in with the Skimmers. But after the Skimmers tried to get to the chicks this morning the parent terns moved the chicks to a new location further away from the Skimmer colony. Now I think they have a good chance of making it:lol:

This is adorable, Joe. Loveing te side light here that adds just the right amount of dimension. The negative space at the top works for me also. Stunning image.
Would consider removing the sand in the lower one's bill.

The negative space above works well, good crop choice. I like the head positions relative to each other.

Very cute and I'm glad the parents got them out of the skimmer territory. How about the oystercatchers? Did they move somewhere else?

I like the angle and composition and might try to lighten the back of the chick on the left.
