    I like the contrast here Joe. Nice detail on the bird with a good looking stare. The greens in the FG and BG add to the image. Nice POV

    I love the OOF FG in the shot and how the owl lifts out from it.
    Nicely posed in the frame, a little more room below would allow some space for the virtual legs, but it's not a problem really.
    Light was perhaps a touch strong, but the image looks great nonetheless.

    Hi Joe, I like the low perspective here and the OOF grass in the FG, gives a 'layering' feel to the image. Looks a bit light, however that might be very reflective of the time of day, but just in LR adding a little more 'depth' to the whole image, I think adds a more solid looking frame? Good call on placing the subject off centre and the negative space to the LHS works. I think Akos makes a good point about the 'virtual' legs, however the OOF FG band may then be too much at the foot of the frame?

    They owl looking quite angry. Like the out of focus foreground and the placement of the bird in the frame.
