    Default Killdeer in Flight

I got an unexpected day off today, and took advantage of the free time by visiting a local marsh. A very active pair of Killdeer made my morning with quite a few fly-bys at close range. This was probably my favorite frame from the encounter.

Doug I have little doubt that would have been my favourite shot! Lovely to see such beautiful detail in an in flight shot. I think I would consider some NR on the wings WDYT??

propbab;y the best killdeer flight shot I have seen. I also have been wanting to get this exact frame but no luck with Canon gear, now with Nikon it's only a matter of time :D

Looks awesome Doug!! Love the open beak and the killer light angle, it couldn't be better.
I might loosen the comp a little if it were mine, and I wish it were, but looks great just the same.
Great looking BG too. Well done buddy

Hi Doug. That's a killer shot. Nothing like that bird where I live.
