    Default Florida Burrowing Owl

I captured this image early morning on my trip south this year to photograph Burrowing Owls in Florida. The bird was perched on a unattractive piece of PVC pipe so I moved closer to work tight. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Good tight portrait against a lovely green background. Nice and clean for ISO 6400.

Nice portrait and well executed given conditions. Personally, I'd rather drop shutter speed than use ISO6400. Not because I can't use that ISO, it's just I will only do if I absolutely have to.

Always love the color of owl's eyes. Nice portrait with a good background.

Hi Akos, I hear you regarding dropping the shutter speed but I did not think I could go lower, the owls head is constantly moving checking it's surroundings. Fortunately the Nikon D500 with the correct exposure gives a pretty clean file at that ISO. Thank you for viewing and commenting.
