The last couple of days I was crawling around on the ground capturing images of Florida Burrowing Owls. So precious these tiny treasures of nature, an adult measuring about 9 inches tall. The trip exposed positive and negative emotions. Positive in that many/ most survived Hurricane Irma. Negative in that on Marco Island two of my go to locations now have houses being constructed. The fight between nature and the progress of man. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

These little owls are indeed sweet. I like the fluffed up pose. IQ on owl looks good.
He is giving you "the look"!
Light a bit harsh but not a deal breaker.
I would be tempted to burn or evict the white stick as it pulls the eye away from the owl.

Hi Gail, easy fix. A reverse S curve to reduce contrast and the Spot Removal tool with content aware fill to evict the grass. Thank you for viewing and commenting.
