Its tern season, with displaying, wooing a mate, and scrapes for nests... Here is a common tern pair: incoming and its mate. He had been returning to this rock with fish that he would present to her but struck out this time, or maybe had a snack on the way home.

Very cool wing position-reminds me of a butterfly.
Great behavior captured and very sharp. Nice that you can see a bit of the eye.
I would burn the whites on the log and warm the image up very slightly.( was it an overcast day?)
Great image.
If you have NIK Efex Pro I would would some Detail extractor and Tonal Contrast 50/50 then put on a layer and use the opacity brush at 10-20% on the wings
I love the wing position of the front bird and how the rear bird is checking out the other one. Good advice from Gail re the whites and NIK. Image also has a blue cast. Just go to hue/saturation and lower the blue channel maybe -10 or 20 and that should clear that right up.
Love this one Ann!! What a Pose!! Never seen a pose like this and the symmetry of the wings is mirror like! Wow factor, Big time!! This is my kind of frame! Been crazy busy but I will try to work on it tonight. Killer frame!
