    This image was created at Montezuma national wildlife refuge in Tyre, New York on 5/4/18 at 11:44AM. Image adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop.

    Hand held, Small crop then cropped to pano. Image made from vehicle.

    Hi John - The head angles really work here. Glad they cooperated and all generally faced the same way and then the one facing you. The pano works but I would go even further taking about half the space above. Less distractions that way and really draws the eye to the turtles. You handled the harsh light well.

    Just one little twist of the head and you have perfect head angles on these John,must say I agree with Rachel re the pano ang loosing some from the top and maybe even a little from the bottom,great the way you have caught these.

    Dear John,

    I won't complain about ISO this time... these guys hardly move, right?

    Good composition and indeed the HA from those chaps really works. Nice to see some environment, albeit a busy one F9 a good choice:)

    No nits from me as such, just contemplating whether some NR on the BG would help the subjects stand out more.

    Amazing colours on those turtles...Wish we had them here in South Africa

    I agree on all accounts with a tighter pano crop and the HA.
    Just a great opportunity for you to capture.
