This image was taken at Bear River Migratory Refuge last weekend.

I do wish that the subject is a little back in the frame. I could not add any canvas in the post process for the same.

Really wonderful shot, Krishna. One of your best, I think. Great setting, pose and detail. Love those wispy seed heads and pale blue background. Superb detail on the bird and great rendition of that black plumage especially. Nicely balanced composition rounds this off for me.

Nice image, I echo the previous comments. I like you wish the subject was back more in the frame. In this instance the teleconverter did not help your composition. Thank you for sharing, Krishna.

This one rocks Krishna! Just great. Details, that perch, image design are all great. Only thing I would probably do is clone out the out of focus plant that is coming out of the birds throat. Would use the blue from below there as a source so there is nothing distracting from the amazing yellow head that these guys have. I would be thrilled to have a shot like this.

Really unique and beautiful image, Krishna. This is a species that has eluded my lens so I am envious!

Actually I don't think it's one of your best, I think it "IS" your best!! This is fantastic and what a great subject too. Very artistic and great colors and details. The soft light really turned this one into something special. Well done!!
