My favorite subject perched on a cliff next to the blue Pacific ocean. Captured last year this feather perfect Peregrine after a roust which separated her feathers nicely Nikon D5, 600mm Fl with 1.4 tc, ISO 2000, F5.6 at 1/2000sec hand held. Thanks for your comments always

That plumage does look beautiful, Glenn and a really nicely presented frame with sumptuous detail. The soft light really helps and love the perch and background here. I do have a 'soft spot' for these head turn shots as well and this one looks very good to my eye. Interesting choice of composition too which I think works quite well.

Love everything about this luscious image. I might like it a tad more with the bird a bit more to the left -- our left -- in the frame.

The detail in the feathers is awesome.
Love the look back pose. Could this go a bit brighter? or does it reflect conditions at the time?

Thanks Glenn, I originally had it as a vertical comp but decided on this instead

Thanks Gail, the light was filtered but maybe a tad brighter might help, maybe our monitors might be slightly different, I haven't touch my calibration for a long time.

Hi Glenn, great look back pose and the feather detail is really sharp. Good DOF on the Peregrine too.
