Default Black necked Stilt Walking in the wind

I just found this image that was taken 2 years ago in the high wind. I like the angled walking pose.

Very striking - like most of your work Lorant. The tilted pose in the strong wind really draws my attention and is balanced nicely by the turn in the opposite direction (as if the bird was indicating it was sick of the wind too). Great point of view and background to round off.

Nice Image. Striking pose for sure. I like low point of view.

I do think the dark Green colors in the back ground could be toned down a little as my eyes are drawn to it.

    Thanks for sharing

Hi Lorant, excellent low perspective, and no doubt fighting the forces of nature. Well exposed on the whites, and I would tidy up the catchlight, as it seems to be a double catchlight.

Thanks for commenting, Stu. Yes, double. One from the sun, other from the reflection of the sun from the water. No flash used here, all natural.

Thank you for commenting, Maestro. I agree. I am from "your school", means I developed my points of critics from this site. This photo comes from the discarded section for the lost bill reason. I still like the angled body and the overall feel, so I pulled it out and whipped the dust off of it:).
