    Hi all,

A piping plover taken about a couple weeks ago at Sandy Hook. It was supposed to be a cloudless sunny morning but once I got there it was very overcast and drizzling . Small crop, NR in photoshop, sharpened. Hoping to get more of these guys this summer. Cloned out a couple distracting bits in the BG and one in the FG.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6
    Specs: 1/500 ISO 2500 f/5.6

Thanks for looking and commenting on prior posts!

Great low angle here. The composition is nice. Looks like you did quite well with the lighting conditions that were given.

Great high key rendition and fantastic low shooting angle. I also like the sand grains, shell and bits of seaweed in or near the plane of focus. The soft light really shows and helps with the high key.

Love the POV and the soft diffused light.
Best part of this image is that you found a PP with no bands! Whites look excellent and the little bit of beach debris adds a lot to this image,

Getting low sets this off nicely, very delicate with the small shells adding a special touch
