    Taken at Bunche Beach in March.
    Full frame crop from horizontal and I coned out a little bit of seaweed that was in below bird.
    Canon 1 DX 600mm and 1.4x
    ISO 400 SS 1/3200 F 5.6
    Nothing fancy in LR or CS5. Adjusted LR sliders and NR to BG and levels and USM to JPEG in CS5

    Very nice shot. Love the downward angle and lighting. Was your focus point more on the legs than head here? They seem nearly on the same plane but front leg looks a tad sharper than the beak to me (but I may not be seeing well... bad eyes getting worse! :(...)

    Great feeding pose on this one. Like the diagonal line the bird forms. Low angle and exposure look great.

    This is sweet Gail. Great pose, details and light. Wish I was there when you were shooting these. I would move the bird a little to the right.
