Another one from SF Bay earlier this week. I love getting low on these little guys to make them
seem huge. This guy is larger in the full size image than in real life!

Hi Dorian, excellent low perspective, and great that you captured the moment he got his food item. Good angled pose, raised leg adds, and overall nice and sharp. I like the colours on him too.

Lovely shot Dorian, I always love these ultra low perspectives. Light, pose ,colours all good and the prey item is excellent. Personally I would trade some of the water for a bit more sky to lower him in the frame, otherwise spot on

This is great Dorian. Man I have to get out to SF Bay area next year about this time to get these beauties in breeding plumage. Seems you have a great spot there for flying and feeding shorebirds. I love the details, light, pose. Only thing I would change is what Mike said, I would take some off of the bottom and add it to the top. This is a really great shorebird frame.

Lovely - yes - the low POV really makes these great. Call me if you go out in a later afternoon. Just across the bay - but don't know this exact spot. - Cheers -

I think this is well balanced the way it is. Like the low low angle and the pose on the bird is nice.

That bird is wearing a fine set of breeding plumage feathers. Invite me and Isaac next year! I would not mind an inch off the bottom. And getting even lower to move the dark water behind the peep's body even lower. BTW, this bird with its very short bill is a surely a male.
