Thought to process another Spoonbill image from my time at Canaveral National Seashore earlier this year.
D850/Sigma 500/4+ 1.4 TC, 1/3200, 6.3, ISO 800, Manual, HH, C1P raw, PS CCC 2018 adjustments/crop.
Love the light and the incoming flight angle.
Whites on the back look good-it is so easy to blow this area out.
I wish the bright area in the BG behind the birds feet was not so "boxy". If mine, I would decrease the brightness of this area and soften the edges by cloning in some of the darker BG.

Hi Jay, I like the flight pose, and glad the head is separated from the far wing. Good feather detail showing, and overall, nicely separated from the BG. I agree with Gail to 'smoothen' out the lines in the BG behind the feet.
Superb incoming pose, great colours - tough to resist a nice Spoonie shot! I didn't clock the area Gail mentioned at first, but now I've seen it it would benefit from a little TLC!
Thanks for feedback all. I think I may extend the lightness to the right edge. That bkg light break was caused by a tree I think but as the light in the bkg moves across most of that space I may just extend it. Thanks.
