    James, this is a great image. You caught him in action, the open snarling mouth, slightly blurred left paw brings the threat of danger home. It looks like a single frame from an older technicolor movie. I really like it.

    James were you shooting VPS (vericolor) .... neat don't recall using that for nature but makes sense Does give great light tones and it is a low contrasts film !!!

    Love seeing anything from the 503 !!! Not easy to focus in a hurry with it, had the eye level finder? Might move the cat slightly to the right but good looking image !!! Big Congrats on this one !!!!

    Al,
    I think when I took this picture they didn't make Vericolor HC which I started using when it came out. As far as focusing on the fly I didn't know weather the cat was jumping on me or as it turned out over my head but I thought I might as well take the shot. Jim
