    Nothing thats going to set the world alight here, but again, I thought I would add it to this months theme. The BKG was already dark so I just emphasised it to give the close up more punch.

    The slight grey shading in the with plumage is natural and not down to poor masking.

    Thanks to those who posted or viewed the previous thread.

    Hi Steve,

    I can never resist these beauties; they are just so elegant and confiding.
    Perfect exposure with so much delicate detail in the whites. For my taste, the solid black background is little harsh, but it works the way you want it to!

    Steve - I love black bg shots. The image has nice detail in the whites, eyes, and lores; and I like the crop.
