    Did you ever have a Great Blue Heron make funny eyes at you and stick it's tongue out? I did. Image captured at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Always a comical POV here Joe with the subject slightly looking up (or it might just be the beak), but I wonder if it might have been better if the bird was actually looking down at you and having more bill?

    I might have gone for a lot more DoF, as you had plenty of ISO to hand too. Watch in pushing the Blues, you are introducing some fringing and the dark shadow area is showing signs of minimal clipping.

    Definitely a different pov but with "Whimsy" as the title I think it works and its fun and refreshing to see something different.

    This is a fun shot. Love the detail on the neck and the eyes. Tongue sticking out is a nice touch. Not sure what to do about the greenish cast under the chin, but that's not a big deal.

    I see many images of birds that it is always nice to see something unusual and funny, i really like this one thanks for sharing.
