Hi Jon, much prefer this to the previous.

    Just my take, but:

    - I might just balance out the FG to get some more depth
    - Reduce the Blue - evident in the sticks in the BKG
    - Get some more tonal depth back in the ear
    - May be a very small % of NR on the BKG
    Check the DB

Cool details at ISO5000 and I like the low POV. Interesting how the fur is very mon chromatic compared to others. Nice one.

Jon you have some super detail on this Hare showing even the fine veins in those large ears, more of a rabbit grey than our brown Hares, might look to loose a little bit on the right but apart from that ,great job.

I share Keith's wish Jon, well essentially frame moves slightly left to offset the eye from center of frame.Steve's points noted. I'ts a lovely detailed grooming image Jon seriously so because the eye and ears are shown so well ,not always the case in grooming images, plus that brown on the back of the neck is lovely. I also love the colour stained feet,I might have mentioned that last time

Very interesting reading the colour notes re the individual and seeing Steve's image Jon. the more I spend time the more I learn about our hares the more this is becoming apparent to me,as you'll know from Bobble.

    great stuff Jon TFS

Hi Jon - I quite like this. The pose is different and there's an element of cuteness. I like that the tail is still visible. Nice details. In addition to the other suggestions I would consider shaving a little off the top just to get rid of the mostly dark edge along the top left.

    Hello Jon,

Your subject is super cute and I love the grooming pose I looked around for these little chaps in the Kruger but wasn't so lucky to spot one.

Well framed and I like the HA, POV is great. Colours spot on, would be nice if you could bring some more detail in those lovely pink ears and make those veins more prominent.

I must say, frame looks very good at ISO 5000. Good composition too and it's wonderful that you managed to capture your subject in a clear spot, they seem to always hide under the bushes

Enjoyed viewing, thank you my friend:)

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Thanks very much everyone for the comments and suggestions. As you mention Gabriela they do tend to get behind twigs or grasses etc I took quite a few shots but most were obscured by bits and bobs. I did think about playing with the ears but the light was dull and colours were minimal and I think I have portrayed the hare pretty much as it it was under these circumstances.
