    Default Theme:great blue heron

This is the same bird I posted a few days ago after it had approached a little closer. An issue here was to remove the stalk or leave it---I usually choose to leave things unless they are impinging on the subject. They are your photos so your call. But i would remove it. The pose on the bird is nice. Little tight at the top.

Here's another try John, with stalk gone this time. The shot was FF so I didn't have more room on top but do you think this tighter and more rectangular crop changes the perspective enough to help address that issue?Name: heron clean.jpg
