    I captured this image of a Florida Gar impaled by a Great Blue Heron at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nice catch for both of you! The pose of both the bird and the fish looks great and so do the details. This one looks a little thin (bright and washed out) on my monitor though. I did a quick repost to show you what I see. Well done

    Oh wow, this is pretty cool. Love the prey item and how it is impaled, with a bit of ooze seeping out. A scene you must have been thrilled to witness and photograph!
