    Learning to better appreciate these commoners. Started and finished tracking this fella in dark areas, but it paid off when he blew through a small window of light.
    D850/Sigma 500/4, 1/3200, 5.6, 640, HH, C1P raw, PS CCC 2018 edits.

    Nice action and sharp capture of this drake in flight. i am not a fan of the bright contrasty background, but we can't control where these birds want to fly!

    Hi Jay, great flight pose, and I really like the forward wing position. Overall well exposed, especially on the head, and I like the trailing droplets. With regards to the BG, I would blend away the few large 'pink' areas, and maybe reduce the overall saturation and contrast.
