Captured this image in Botswana, while this beauty was concentrating on a Warthog burrow just out of frame, and was not concerned with our presence at all. C&C welcome.

Hi Geoffrey, colour looks better, but with the foliage over the face (albeit the eye is clear) and the image does not appear sharp it's not working for me, although seeing these big cats is always a nice experience.

Hi Geoffrey - Unfortunately, my reaction is the same as Steve's. It's always tough when the cats don't want to cooperate or are in thicker brush.

Sometimes I do like to see these cats partly obscured by foliage in fact in my opinion often enhances the image but I'm afraid not in this case Geoffrey ,if it was coming out of the foliage rather than into it would have been a lot better.Must be great trying to get these shots even if they will not always cooperate ,that,s wildlife for you.

Unfortunately I think you have focused on the branch as opposed to the head. Just looked at the lens boy you were CLOSE!
