I took this shot on a winter afternoon at Manglajodi, Odissa, India this January. It was an interesting trip. I feel in this case f8, S-1/2500 would have been better. Looking forward to your inputs.

This is looking real good Somdeb. Lovely detail on the bird and a wonderful flight pose. On my screen it looks as though the critical focus point was on the wing as the head is a little soft, I would try sharpening the head a little. I think the BG shows the bird well and I love the trailing legs, with the mud falling from them. Well done.

Looks very good to me also. Great wing position and head angle. Background works really well. Shorebirds havre very fine feathers on their heads. Not sure if it is just the feather structure or as William mentions that the head is a touch soft. I think it is the feather structure but with a little bit of selective sharpening to the head you could just give it that little bit extra it needs to offset the thin feathers on the head. Also I would add a few points of black to the image and lower your mid tones just a few points as well. Think it will provide extra depth.

love the pose and BG, great night and wing position. looks sharp on my screen but I'd clone out the reflection on the bill. I wish the head was turned just a bit more towards us

Great flight pose, light, and BG. I also felt a touch of selective sharpening on the head wouldn't hurt.

Can't add much that has been said already, but great BG and I like the falling mud drops.
