    This is one I captured during May, last year on the Isle of May. I posted it last year. I thought I would process again for the bigger size and for this months theme. Thanks for having a look.

    This looks great posted big. The detail and composition are nice. The image looks a little over exposed to me.

    Nice detail & interesting colors Will. There's something different about the feathers of aquatic birds that makes them difficult to photograph.

    Just noticed this shot. My first thought William was that the light was too harsh. It has that look to it. Nice details and pose. Love the crazy crest. These birds really need to be shot in nice soft morning or evening light I think to show their tones correctly. Also just pointing out that on my screen there is banding and posterization throughout the whole background. As we have discussed the dark backgrounds, once downsized are very hard. I'm sure your fell res does not have it, so just pointing it out.

    nice head shot but the light was too harsh, the colors are a bit off and the image is too contrasty. not much you can do here
