    Default American Oystercatcher

This young bird was still being fed by it's parents but based on it's size and plumage I'm sure it was soon to be on it's own. Photographed last fall just before sunset at Nickerson Beach in Long Island, NY. This is my favorite time of the day to photograph birds and also to be on the beach and watch the sun set.

Splendid in every way. POV, great pose from the youngster; light; BG. Wouldn't change a thing.

This is wonderful, Isaac. Shorebirds are my absolute favorite and I'd be stoked if this was my frame. Pink glow is where it's at!

Most excellent work Isaac, such a beautiful soft setting and the processing is superb. Clean shore, gorgeous light, and the colors on this young AMOC are gorgeous, couldn't be better. Another shorebird delight!

Over the top, Isaac!! Beautiful IQ, and I like the capture in mid stride.

That's as good as it gets - focus, composition, background, pose.

Hi Isaac, sweeeeeet light here, and what a great perspective. You captured a good angled walking pose, good feather detail, sharp, and I like the droplets on the belly. Gotta love the pastel colours in the BG. A fine image all round

Looking real good. I love the detail, lighting, colours and BG. But, I really love the POV. It makes so much difference especially when conditions are good, and you know, that you have captured a sweet frame.

    Well done

Wow!! Glad I went back to look for this one. What an awesome frame Isaac. Exposure and details look fantastic and lots of great colors in the Bg. Beautiful light, lined up perfectly, DFC for sure
