    Nice detailed look at this male, John. The dark bird does struggle a bit compared to the lighter background. It would be nice to see a bit more detail on him.

    Hi John, he looks cozy and tucked up on the water. I can see the blacks, but agree trying to bring them out a bit more wont harm the image, especially the eye. The single droplet certainly adds a lot. I do like the texture of the water too.
