This is a Least Sandpiper and is awesome. These are the smallest shorebirds on the continent, a fact that makes this shot even more difficult and special.

Another amazing flight shot of these diminutive speedsters. It must be the Nikon. I think I'm seeing just a bit of posterization from the conversion; tough to avoid sometimes.
