I like shots like this of these birds. You have a great color palette and the water compliments the bird very well. Details look nice. I think I would bump the exposure a little on the bird. Also I am not sure if it is the ripples or not but I get the feeling that the shot needs some clockwise rotation.
I love the beautiful subject with nice detail and the colours of the water. If it was possible I would prefer a lower perspective and a more direct light source, but its still a lovely image John.
