    Default Yellow Billed Stork

I thought I would get into the swing of things and enter the monthly theme. This is a Yellow Billed Stork who was fishing for breakfast at Sunset Dam - a large dam just outside one of the larger camps in the Kruger National Park. As much I wanted to capture a fish in his beak, it didnt happen, so we both lost out. I was fairly close, so I dont believe I would have achieved any more DOF.

Very cool. I have never seen this bird pretty neat looking. Details look great. Nice background with a good composition as well.

Cracking detail Stu, nice capture with the bill open, just elevates it for me. I just wonder if the Red or Saturation is a bit strong as it's also colouring the water???

Beautiful colors throughout. High IQ and fine detail working together with the unexpected but pleasing composition.

Details look great Stu. You can really see how it gets its name. I like the crop as well. Would maybe up the exposure a little bit.

Great looking frame Stu. The detail is perfect. love the colours throughout. I would try lightening up the red and yellows a little.

    Well captured

Great colors, nice comp. I like the open bill and the hint of a shadow on the water.
