One for Andreas, shot from one of the many boats on route to the Fares Islands. The only issue in shooting, is to avoid the many bobbing heads of the folk on board how get excited and then stand up to photograph the various subjects on route. therefore the only option was to go in tight sadly, would have preferred more of a wider aspect.
Note, the colouration is actually in the coat and not a PP issue.

Hi Steve - Going in tight worked quite well here with lovely detail. The dof looks spot on too. The only thing I might do is mute the green area on the lhs slightly as it draws the eye.
I think the image is fantastic! The colours look perfect to me, the way you have managed to tease out the detail in the wet, damp and dry fur is really top notch.
Thanks Steve for this special for me ....
Good to see somebody else is shooting them ....hope to see you this year at my location , in company with Jon , my offer is still around !!!
Regarding the image , all does look very good to me . Love the way you process things , keeping the whispy hairs visible even at this size !!!
Colors and general tones are spot on and i do love the coloration in the fur , you did well with the classy head turn and the tightness is working good .
As a personal thing i might add some more tonal depth in the 1/4 range , a tiny bit in the green and a bit more in the red channel .
