    This plover let me get real close, (then got scared away by an off leash dog ). Any feedback would be appreciated. 7d 500mm f4 I 1/320 f7.1 iso 400.

    Very Nice Image. I do wish there was more space behind the subject and I wish I could see the feet as well.

    Details are lovely, as it the head angle. Also wish for more breathing room around the bird as he is very tight in the frame as is.

    Head turn is perfect, and fine feather detail is exquisite. I'm also in the camp wishing for a little more room all around.

    As mentioned, the subject is rather large in the frame - more room for the comp to breathe would be ideal. I'm OK with the missing feet in this case as they are obviously (and entertainingly) buried in the sand. Perfect head turn, good details.
