Maybe this shot is more acceptable! This is after the Kookaburra had thoroughly murdered the snake and moved to another spot. As noted in the previous post it is a Red-bellied Black Snake which as Glenn alluded to is quite venomous. They grow to about 2m in length and as thick as a man's wrist.
