A cheetah shows serious intent as he watches some prey in the distance and marches on. Thanks for commenting on my earlier posts. Have a nice weekend.

The crop is not my cup of tea but the detail is superb, well done Sanjeev!

Hi Sanjeev - Techs, details and sharpness all look good but again the colors look too red and magenta to me. Here's a rp where all I did was adjust the WB/tint with the dropper. I think the colors look better. I also find the comp a bit awkward. I think it's because you caught the cheetah mid-stride so the shoulder looks like a bump.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Sanjeev the detail and texture is superb and do like the focused stare, think I prefer Rachels crop and almost forgot to mention what I think is a little insect on it's nose.

    Keith.

Thanks Tobie, Rachel and Keith. Yes thats the shoulder hump Rachel, and I like your RP regarding the colours. I kinda liked the comp and crop as it gives a different perspective, with the arrow like head, the long neck and strong shoulders. Anyway its just my take.

    Hello Sanjeev,

I am staring at this tonight, thinking I have an almost identical image of a cheetah taken this February in the Kalahari Love the stalking pose here and the comp works for me. Techs look good although I might have gone for more SS, just to be safe. Perhaps a tad more DoF too. Colours look better in Rachel's RP. Blacks a tad dark? I do like that soft BG, subject stands out really nicely against it. Nice detail as well as sharpness, HA is superb.

I'll post that cheetah image soon, just for you. Almost identical, just the fly not in the same place. Awesome sighting well captured, thank you so much for sharing

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
