    You did well to get an image that is rather intense with action, and going to in-camera settings to take advantage of that. Quite a large prey item! Unfortunately, as posted, the image is rather soft and the light very strong and off angle creating harsh contrast ans shadows. Still, it must have been a thrilling encounter, and these keep us coming back to try to improve on what we already have!

    Agree with Daniel's comments. Great action, but the large crop and harsh light really hurt the image. Please keep them coming. Thank you for sharing.

    Agree with all that has been said. You might also want to rotate the image a few degrees CW to level the splash a bit. That would
    also help align the green at the top of the frame.

    Thank you for all the input. I will have to more mindful of my focus point, f stop etc.
    I realize my errors and will learn from my failures. I find myself trying to use the lowest f stop in a effort to maximize background bokeh; however, if I miss focus it doesn't matter. You can put mag wheels on a junk car; but in the end it's still a junk car.
