The light and wing position are killer. Slight head turn adds a lot.
I am not sure about the prey-is it a fish? I wish I could see more of the prey so I could identify it.
The foot on the prey is nice.
I am not sure about the BG. Those bright yellow circles are a bit distracting,

I love this shot Sasan! I agree with Gail that the fish looking in this direction would have raised it another level but hey, nature does not always offer us optimal content! The bird is as sharp as can be and the light perfect!

Sweet light, and I love the raised wings. Good low angle, nice comp. I agree about the prey item pointing away from us. I'd probably also reduce to blue cast to the shadows. Perfect head angle.

Hi Gail and thank you for comment ,These yellow points are due to vegetation in that area

This is great Sasan! Head angle, wing position, prey item, foot on the prey item, and stunning light all add up to a really interesting image, well done!
Where was this photographed? I have tried many times to get photos of Marsh Harriers in SW England (where I live) but they are always distant. It looks like you got really close here! Were you in a hide?
