Technically an Egret, but for some reason it is referred to as a Black Heron. Relatively common in the Okavango Delta where it breeds during the wet season. It is actually sort of slate-gray, but not as light as the Slaty Egret, another Botswana specialty.

Exposure looks good but I think you can get more colour separation in the plumage with a minor colour balance adjustment.
