I captured this image during a drive along Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive in Apopka, Florida. The day was overcast, a little dark but all in all good conditions for photography without having to worry about light angles. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Like the composition and the perch. The image looks a little dark to me.

What a neat perch this fella chose! This pose and perch was screaming vertical comp, glad you went for it. Some hot whites on the back, and I do wish the crevice along the left of the perch was not there as it gives the illusion of a much extended toe. I agree with you about cloudy conditions being good :-)

John and Dan, thank you for viewing and commenting, very much appreciated. Here is a repost with the hot areas on the back fixed.

Love the repost Joe. The original is a lovely frame, but the little extra TLC was well worth it. Loads of detail, eye level POV, great subject, whats not to like?
