I found this in my files and thought with the new posting size, I would give it a go and see the result. I liked the forward wing position as he flew across my local pond in Pretoria.

What a great looking duck!
Perfect wings forward position and love the dangling feet.
IQ and sharpness look great. Exposure spot on. BG water OK.

I know these guys Stu,we call them white faced whistlers ,wonderful birds,i've helped look after and rear captive birds here. Stu this is a wonderful take on a bird that just makes me smile,the detail I find stunning,love the forwards wing stoke and gorgeous colours, they just look right Stu,mind I still keep coming back to that detail.

Very cool Stu! Great looking subject with an awesome wing position and the details and exposure are spot on. My favorite part is the raised wing coverts as they add a lot of dimension. Well done
